About Gina

Big feelings. Challenging behaviors. Little voices that need to be heard.

I help children and teens ages 3–18 navigate anxiety, ADHD, trauma, emotional regulation, and behavioral challenges through compassionate, developmentally appropriate therapy. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist with nine years of clinical experience, I believe every child deserves to feel understood, supported, and empowered to thrive.

I believe children often communicate through their behavior what they cannot yet express through words. Through play therapy, I help children express emotions, process difficult experiences, develop healthy coping skills, and build confidence. My approach incorporates Adlerian Play Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), tailored to each child's unique needs and strengths.

With a background in both mental health and education, I understand how emotional and behavioral challenges can impact children at home, at school, and in their relationships. I enjoy partnering with parents and caregivers to better understand their child's needs, strengthen family connections, and develop practical strategies for everyday challenges. I also offer in-home parent coaching to provide personalized support within the family's own environment.

My professional experience includes crisis intervention, critical incident debriefing, and training for educators and community professionals. I am also a qualified clinical supervisor for Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselors (PLPCs) and am pursuing my Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S) credential.

Above all, I want families to know they don't have to navigate these challenges alone. My goal is to create a warm, judgment-free space where children feel safe, parents feel supported, and families can grow stronger together.
