Water flowing gently over stones

Therapy isn’t only for the hard days. It’s for you if you want to thrive in your career, be a more confident parent, love and accept yourself, sleep through the night again, or feel like yourself again.

It’s a safe space to reflect, focus on yourself and work through what isn’t going the way you want. We work actively alongside you, so the change you want to see is something you build, not something you wait for.

Whatever your goals, every therapist at Restoring Minds is expertly trained and qualified to help you reach them.

Questions people ask before the first call.

All questions
How do I know if I need therapy?

Choosing to begin therapy is always a personal decision. If it might help to talk with a caring, knowledgeable person, because you’re feeling stuck, or you just don’t know how to handle what’s in front of you, therapy is worth considering.

At your first consultation, your therapist will do a thorough assessment: how you’re functioning now, past psychological difficulties, family history and medical history. Together, you’ll use it to shape your treatment plan.

Will my health insurance cover therapy?

Often, yes, insurance frequently covers a significant portion of the cost. Every plan is different, so we recommend calling your insurer to confirm your copay and deductible.

If your plan requires preauthorization, we’ll get it for you. We bill most major insurers, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem, UnitedHealthcare, HealthLink and Cigna.

How much does therapy cost?

Fees vary by therapist: $100 to $150 for an initial consultation and $110 to $160 for each 50 minute session after that.

We accept many forms of insurance.

How often are sessions, and how long does therapy last?

Most people come once a week for a 50 minute session, though that can vary. Therapy lasts as long as it’s useful, anywhere from a few sessions to several years.

You and your therapist will decide on frequency and length together, and revisit it as you go.
