Privacy policy

What this website collects when you visit, how we use it, and the choices you have. Effective October 22, 2026.

Your health information

This website doesn’t ask for health information, and it isn’t part of your health record. Please don’t include health details in the careers form or in email. Call us instead.

If you’re a client, the health information you share with us in care is protected by federal law (HIPAA) and described in our Notice of Privacy Practices. You can ask us for a copy at any time.

Appointment requests

“Request an appointment” opens a secure form in our patient portal, hosted by Valant, the behavioral health records company we use. What you enter there goes to Valant and our practice, not to this website, and is protected as health information.

Our website doesn’t tell Valant which page you were reading when you followed the link. Google Analytics, described below, records that the button was selected and the page it was on, but never anything you type into the portal.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to learn which pages are helpful and how people find us. It collects:

  • Pages you view and links you select, including “Request an appointment”
  • How you arrived, such as from a search engine or another website
  • Your approximate location (city or region), device, browser and screen size
  • How long you stay and whether you return

Google Analytics uses cookies (named “_ga”) to recognize return visits. It doesn’t give us your name or contact details, and according to Google it doesn’t log or store IP addresses.

We’ve turned off Google signals and ad personalization, and our site blocks Google’s advertising connections. We don’t use this data for advertising, and it isn’t linked to your Google account. Google handles it under its privacy policy (opens in a new tab); see also how Google uses information from sites that use its services (opens in a new tab).

Error monitoring

We use Sentry, an error-monitoring service, to find and fix problems with this website. When something breaks, such as a page that fails to load, Sentry receives:

  • Technical details of the error and the page it happened on
  • Your browser, operating system, device type and approximate location (city or region)
  • The steps just before it, such as the pages you visited and the buttons you selected
  • A short replay of the page around the error. Before anything leaves your browser, all text and anything typed into forms is replaced with placeholder characters and images are hidden, so the replay shows the page’s layout, not its content.

Replays are only kept when an error happens. Sentry also receives page-loading times for a sample of visits so we can keep the site fast. Sentry uses your IP address only to estimate that approximate location and doesn’t store it. It doesn’t receive cookies or anything you type, and it doesn’t identify you. A temporary ID kept in your browser tab links the steps of one visit and is cleared when you close the tab. If a careers application fails to send, Sentry receives the error, never your application.

Sentry stores this information in the United States under its privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

Careers applications

If you apply for a job, we collect your name, email address, license type, résumé and anything you add in the note. Your application is emailed to our hiring team through our email provider, Resend. This website doesn’t store it. We use it only to review your application and contact you about it.

Calls, email and hosting

If you call or email us, we use what you share to respond to you.

Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes standard technical information such as IP address and browser type to deliver this website and protect it from abuse.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell or rent your information.
  • We don’t use advertising pixels or retargeting, such as the Meta (Facebook) Pixel.
  • We don’t use analytics to identify individual visitors.

Your choices

Our site doesn’t currently respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals, so please use the options above.

We link to other services, including our patient portal, Google Maps, Facebook and Instagram. Their own privacy policies apply once you’re there.

Children

This website isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information online. If you’re seeking care for a child, a parent or guardian should request the appointment or call us.

Security

This site is served only over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No website can be completely secure, so please don’t send sensitive information through it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the effective date at the top.
