My therapy has not only been life changing it has been lifesaving. It is hard to appropriately articulate in words the positive impact Cat (Catherine) has had on my life. It starts with the creating of a safe space of caring and understanding. Having previous failed attempts at therapy this was key to making any progress. I have no doubt that Cat genuinely cares for me and my well-being. The actual therapy is fit to me the individual and not me fitting into a standard/cookie cutter therapy strategy. I have been able to find my own path with Cat's help in therapy.
I started off scared, nervous, and apprehensive. Now I look forward to my sessions. Nearly each time, I have an aha moment. However, the most important part is the change in my happiness with myself. I went from waking up every morning hating myself and life to waking up loving myself and looking forward to life. As a child sexual abuse trauma survivor and a long-time closeted homosexual with gender fluidity, I have found true help.
Through my therapy with Cat, I have learned how to navigate my life like never before. My anger and anxiety no longer control my life, find the tools best for me to deal with my anger and anxiety. I am finally able to sleep through the night. I am finally able to be comfortable in on my own skin and have the confidence to be myself to the world. My son, friends and coworkers verbally expressed noticing a positive difference.
Restoring Minds is magnificent, with so many options under one umbrella I and my family have been able to find the counselors and the therapy we need all in one place. I personally have experienced individual and couples counseling along with my son experiencing his own therapy. Being able to find 3 different counselors in one location and one billing has been a tremendous help
My couples counseling with Camile did not have the storybook ending I had envisioned when it started but it did have a positive outcome and without the therapy and help of Camile that would not have been possible. Camile did a great job on guiding us through our journey, helping us end a 20 plus year marriage as positive as possible. The guidance and therapy from Camile were very helpful in revealing our true feelings. She also helped both of us find individual counselors.
