About Me
You don't have to stay stuck.
Life can look successful on the outside while feeling very different on the inside. You may find yourself repeating unhealthy relationship patterns, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling to trust yourself, or wondering why you've worked so hard to heal but still don't feel the peace you're looking for.
Together, we'll identify what you want for your life and explore what may be keeping you stuck. Often, the patterns that no longer serve us began as survival strategies that helped us through difficult experiences. Therapy provides an opportunity to better understand those patterns and begin creating lasting change.
I work with adults experiencing the effects of complex trauma, relationship and attachment concerns, anxiety, burnout, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based care. I integrate EMDR, the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-focused therapy, and other trauma-informed approaches to help clients heal, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with themselves.
Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, and direct. I strive to create a space where you feel safe to be yourself, ask difficult questions, and explore your experiences without judgment. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you gain clarity, build self-trust, and move toward the life and relationships you truly want.
With more than 17 years of clinical experience, I've worked in private practice, hospitals, intensive outpatient programs, and community mental health settings, supporting adolescents and adults through a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Argosy University, my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology, and my Ph.D. in Organizational Development from Benedictine University. I am licensed in Missouri, Illinois and Florida with advanced training in EMDR, NARM, ACT, and the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy.
It is a privilege to walk alongside people as they discover that healing is possible. I believe meaningful change happens when we better understand ourselves with compassion, rather than judgment. If you're ready to create lasting change and build a life that feels more connected, balanced, and authentic, I would be honored to be part of your journey.
