About Me
Hi, I’m Carina - I hold a Master of Social Work as well as a Master of Pastoral Studies, allowing me to bring both clinical expertise and a faith-based perspective to my work as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of individuals; children, teens, adults, and parents, navigating challenges in different stages of life. My experience includes supporting clients through trauma, life transitions, and emotional struggles, using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Motivational Interviewing, and solution-focused strategies.
At the core of my practice is the belief that everyone deserves a safe space and a safe person to talk to, free from fear of judgment. I strive to provide a compassionate, supportive environment where healing, growth, and self-discovery can take place. Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my family, crocheting, and reading, activities that help me stay grounded and creative.
